1. Scope
These Terms govern access to and use of spectrosec.com and its informational content. Professional services delivered by SPECTROSEC (penetration testing, red teaming, DevSecOps consulting, etc.) are governed by a separate contract signed by both parties before engagement start.
2. Intellectual property
All content on the site โ text, graphics, SPECTROSEC logo, proprietary methodologies, source code โ is protected by copyright and intellectual property rights. Reproduction, modification or distribution without explicit written authorisation is prohibited.
Blog posts may be read freely; short citations are permitted with full attribution and a link to the original source.
3. Nature of content
Technical information published on the site (writeups, CVE analysis, methodologies) is for educational purposes and does not constitute binding professional advice for specific cases. SPECTROSEC disclaims any responsibility for decisions made solely on the basis of site content outside of a professional engagement.
4. Limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SPECTROSEC does not warrant:
- uninterrupted or error-free service;
- absolute accuracy of technical content without refresh;
- compatibility with every browser, operating system or device.
5. Professional services
Service descriptions, listed prices and published methodologies are indicative. The exact engagement perimeter, included/excluded activities, SLAs, reporting format and deliverable ownership are defined in the signed commercial offer and master service agreement.
SPECTROSEC reserves the right to decline engagements presenting ethical, legal or conflict-of-interest issues incompatible with its operational standards.
6. Authorised activities
All penetration testing, red teaming, reverse engineering activities are performed only on targets owned by or properly authorised by the client. A Rules of Engagement (RoE) / authorisation letter must be signed before any offensive activity begins.
7. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Milan, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules apply.
8. Changes
SPECTROSEC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site following changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
